Desperately want to stop smoking, but afraid you will fail?
Stopping smoking can be difficult. Many people try to fail multiple times. But it can be done. I stopped smoking after 30 years of the habit and a couple of failed attempts. I finally succeeded thanks to hypnotherapy and haven’t smoked for 10 years now. Not only have I not smoked, but I don’t have any desire to smoke again.
If I can do it, so can you!

We all know this, but here are a few reminders to motivate you.
Benefits of Stopping Smoking
Improved Health
Where to start? Blood pressure down. Risk of a heart attack is down. Reduced lung congestion. Increased circulation and lots more.
Increased bank balance
Who doesn’t want to be better off? Put the money you save away so you can really see how much money you have saved.
No more stinky clothes
Even if you smoke outside, the smell still sticks to you. If you smoke indoors, the smoke permeates into the furnishings and walls too.
More energy
As your lungs clear you will have more air capacity. Meaning you will be fitter and have much more energy to do the things you enjoy.
Better sense of smell
You will find all your favourite scents smell so much better. Inhale the scent of freshly cut grass and your favourite perfume again with joy.
Not putting others at risk
However careful you are inevitably, others will also inhale some of your smoke too.
You can do it!
How Hypnotherapy can Help
Hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation and intense concentration to help access someone’s subconscious mind. In this heightened state of awareness, the therapist can make suggestions to overcome the psychological addiction and cravings associated with smoking.
The goal is to reshape the client’s subconscious attitudes and associations with smoking to make it easier to overcome nicotine dependence.
Here are just a few ways that can help you stop smoking.
Hypnotherapy
A safe and effective method of stopping smoking that does not rely on replacing cigarettes with anything else.
Nicotine Replacement Therapy
Nicotine patches and gums can be very effective in removing the urge to smoke and are free with the NHS.
E-Cigarettes
These limit the most harmful effects of smoking, but in the long run, they replace one addiction with another.
Working with me to stop smoking
Once you have decided to stop smoking, I can help to free you from your nicotine addiction and focus on the positive benefits of not smoking.
As with any treatment – you have to really want to stop smoking – forever – otherwise, neither hypnosis nor any other form of treatment will work.
The treatment can be used along with other methods such as patches, but e-cigarettes are not recommended.
How it works
Treatment involves 2 sessions of 60 – 90 minutes and costs £200.
Session 1
This session focuses on finding out about your relationship with cigarettes. From this, I will create a plan tailored to your specific needs. You will receive a handout with lots of tips and practical advice to help you become a non-smoker.
Session 2
The second session is where the hypnosis work is done. This includes a CD or mp3 recording for self-hypnosis for you to take home and use to help reinforce the idea of being a non-smoker.* A further free reinforcement session is available if you are struggling.
What happens afterwards
Treat yourself as an ex-smoker. To help you with this, I will provide you will a self-hypnosis recording. This will reinforce the benefits of not smoking and reiterate the harm smoking does, especially during a time of stress.
*Disclaimer. Results cannot be guaranteed as this is a therapy and each person is unique. All I can promise is that I will do my best to help you.
